Strawberries

Typically the strawberry harvest begins in mid June and lasts for about 4 weeks. We have over 2.5 acres of of strawberry fields, come join the fun!

Weekly ripe and ready varieties will be listed on our HOME page. We see a big crop coming and expect good picking conditions to last all day whenever the patches are open.   • Early Season: (June 15th-30th)

    Wendy: largest fruit in the early season, excellent flavor, firm, good for freezing and jam
    Early Glow: small, best flavor, medium in firmness, great for jam and for freezing

    Mid-Season: (June 20th-July 4th)

    Cavendish: great multi-purpose berry with outstanding flavor

    Late Season: (July 1st-15th)

    Jewel: good flavor and size, rates high on freezer scale but is known to be inconsistent for jamming
    Flavor Fest: Great size and Flavor. A solid choice for multipurpose berry needs.

    Very Late Season: (July 4th-20th)

    Valley Sunset: An excellent berry to finish the season. Consistent large size of beautifully shaped berries with a light red fruit color. A great flavored berry that is not recommended for freezing.
