Peaches

Our peach season runs from the last week in July through mid September with many different varieties that come and go. We have 500 peach trees. The most peaches will be ripe between August 15 and September 6.

Picking hours July and August are 8-4 Tues-Sun. Closed on Mondays. Conditions vary so call 603-335-4705 for daily updates.

CLING STONE- our early season peaches. The flesh of the peach clings to the pit, making them a little more difficult to work with. They are best for fresh eating or for pickling and preserving.

SEMI-CLING- Still early season, just before Red Havens. They are semi-cling because there are parts of the flesh that will detach easily form the pit.

FREESTONE- our first freestone variety is Red Haven. These come on the middle of August. Freestone includes all of our varieties after Red Haven, including the white flesh peaches. Freestone are great for freezing and canning. They are much easier to work with then Clingstone.

WHITE FLESH- Our white flesh peaches come on mid-season. They are sub-acid (no acid) so the sweet flavor of the peach is pronounces. These are great for desserts.
